Duplex Stainless Steel Tube Characteristics:

Duplex structure: Duplex stainless steel pipe consists of two phases, ferrite and austenite, and usually the ferrite phase content is between 30-70%. This duplex structure gives duplex stainless steel tubes unique properties and advantages.
Strength and Toughness: Duplex stainless steel tubes have high strength and toughness, enabling them to withstand higher pressures and impacts. Compared to austenitic stainless steel tubes, duplex stainless steel tubes have higher strength under the same conditions, thus allowing for the design of thinner-walled pipes and lower costs.
Good corrosion resistance: Duplex stainless steel pipes have good corrosion resistance, especially excellent resistance to corrosive media containing chloride ions. They exhibit excellent resistance to pitting, intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, making them widely used in the marine environment, chemical industry and oil and gas industry.
Excellent weldability: Duplex stainless steel tubes have good weldability and can be joined by conventional welding methods. The welded joint area maintains good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties without the need for subsequent heat treatment.
Good machinability: Duplex stainless steel tubes have good plasticity and machinability and can be cold and hot worked, such as bending, forming and machining into various shapes and sizes of fittings.
