60Si2Mn spring steel is a widely used silico-manganese spring steel with slightly higher strength, elasticity and hardenability than 55Si2Mn. 60Si2Mn spring steel industry produces flat springs with large load or coil springs with diameter less than 30mm. It is also suitable for making heat-resistant springs with non-corrosive medium with working temperature below 250 °C and with alternating load and high stress. Large important coil springs for working under, as well as automotive shock absorption systems.

Heat specification:

60Si2Mn heat treatment specification: quenching 870 °C ± 20 ° C, oil cooling; tempering 480 ° C ± 50 ° C (specially required, ± 30 ° C).

Delivery status: Hot-rolled steel is delivered in heat-treated or non-heat-treated condition, and cold-drawn steel is delivered in heat-treated state.
