Q235A steel plate

Q235 carbon steel contains four different grades as Q235A,Q235B,Q235C and Q235D.The big difference among these four carbon steel grades is the impacting temperature.
Chemical Composition
Boiler steel plate is mainly used in the manufacture of various boilers and important accessories. Since the boiler steel plate works at medium temperature (below 350°C) and high pressure, in addition to high pressure, it is also subject to impact, fatigue load and water vapor corrosion. It is required to guarantee a certain strength, and has good welding and cold bending performance. Common grades: Q245R, A5155 grade 55, A5156 grade 60, Q235A carbon steel plate, A5166 grade 65, A51670 grade.

The elongation of low-alloy high-strength steel is 15%-23%, and the impact absorption energy at room temperature is greater than 34J. Q235A carbon steel plate, low alloy high strength steel has good plasticity and impact resistance, which can avoid brittle fracture during impact and make cold bending and welding easy. In addition, the brittle transition temperature of low-alloy high-strength steel is low, and the absorption working value of E-grade steel at -40 °C is not less than 27J. This is of great significance for engineering components and means of transportation such as vehicles, ships, offshore oil platforms, containers, bridges, etc.
