Q235C steel plate

Q235C mild steel plate is mainly used for building steel structurals.The best equivalent steel grade is S235J0 under steel specification EN 10025-2.Q235C shall be done low temperature impacting test under zero centigrade.
Chemical Composition
Q235B steel plate is a kind of low carbon steel. The national standard GB/T 700-2006 "Carbon Structural Steel" has a clear definition. Q235B is one of the most common steel products in China. It is inexpensive and can be used in most products that do not require high performance.

Method:
(1) It is composed of Q + number + quality grade symbol + deoxidation symbol. Its steel number is prefixed with "Q" to represent the yield point of the steel, and the following numbers represent the yield point value in MPa. For example, Q235 represents carbon structural steel with a yield point (σs) of 235 MPa.
(2) If necessary, the symbol of the quality grade and deoxidation method can be indicated after the steel number. The quality grade symbol is A, B, C, D. deoxidation method symbol: F represents boiling steel; b Represents semi-lethal steel; Z represents the steel killed; The TZ means Special Kill Steel. Killed steel may not have a marker symbol, that is, both Z and TZ can be left unmarked. For example, Q235-AF stands for Class A boiling steel.
(3) Special-purpose carbon steel, such as bridge steel, ship steel, etc., basically adopts the expression method of carbon structural steel, but adds a letter indicating the purpose at the end of the steel number.

Use:
Q235B has certain elongation, strength, good toughness and castability, and is easy to stamp and weld. It is widely used in the manufacture of general mechanical parts. It is mainly used to weld structural parts with high quality requirements in construction and bridge engineering.

AB distinguishes the difference between Q235A and Q235B
: The steels are all carbon steel. In the national standard GB700-88, the material difference between Q235A and Q235B mainly lies in the carbon content of steel. The carbon content of Q235A material is 0.14-0.22%;
The Q235A board does not do impact test, while Q235B does room temperature impact test of V-notch. Relatively speaking, the mechanical properties of steel made of Q235B are far better than those made of Q235A.
Under normal circumstances, steel mills mark the finished profile on the identification plate before leaving the factory. Users can determine whether the material on the identification plate is Q235A, Q235B or some other material. Design pressure P≤ 1.6MPa; Operating temperature 0~350°C; Steel plate thickness >=20mm
